My year of weddings and events ended with a C I R C U S 🎪

There was a lot of detail and time that went into creating this; from draping to lighting, entertainment, props, performers, signage, food and food theatre, stationery, transport, photography, table styling, music… the run sheet and supplier logistics and on the day coordination from early morning until hitting the pillow at home at 3:30am.

All of the ideas, the planning and the vision is only possible when every supplier delivers and the orchestration of what a successful event is plays out in real time. That is what happened here, so thanks to an epic team for making this all possible:

With almost 150 of their most favourite people, the vibes were high, the champagne and cocktails flowing…
From a custom ‘chips station’ to freshly shucked oysters, the most incredible pasta served out of none other than a very large Parmesan cheese wheel… that was just the start.

Many wedding vendors were personally known to the couple, close friends and even family to make this day every bit more meaningful.

The dance floor went off under a canopy of fairy lights as a live sax 🎷 came to join the Dj to bring that little bit extra.

Tiramisu and wedding cake for dessert as well as a late night pizza snack ~ always a winner to have a late night snack!!

Tom and Ali thank you for entrusting my team to style and set up and for having me coordinate all the moving parts, a true pleasure.

It’s been a while since I introduced myself and with many new followers I thought it was about time… so here we go.

Hi, I’m Amy — a creative soul, business owner and lover of many things but especially meaningful connection, family and of course beautifully styled spaces and thoughtfully curated celebrations!

I’m the founder of Cloud 9 Events and Styling, where I help bring unforgettable weddings, celebrations, and events to life. With over 15 years in the wedding and events industry - covering styling, planning, marketing, hospitality, and venue management, I’m passionate about creating moments that feel meaningful, authentic, and full of heart. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a large celebration, I love working with my clients to turn their vision into reality. 💫

Along with my partner, I’m also the proud owner of Bower On Lake, my little retail dream in Laurieton, NSW. Bower On Lake is where I curate pre-loved, upcycled, vintage, and new homewares and décor — perfect for styling your space, entertaining, or finding that unique gift. I believe in sustainability, thoughtful design, and creating homes that tell a story. 🏡

Tim and Phoebe // I hope it’s okay that I share this… 🫶🏼

I think of you both so often. And today, on your 3rd wedding anniversary. It was such a joy filled, happy day. Phoebe exuded happiness and always has the biggest smile on her face. You both had the most wonderful day. Together you supported each other through the wedding planning process, nothing was an issue, you were both just so happy to be getting married and choosing life together. I loved getting to know you both and being there on your wedding day. It was so special and the love wasn’t just between the two of you but your family and friends too, it was truly beautiful in every way.

I think of Phoebe often and my heart breaks for the grief and loss of such an incredible person, in the small moments and the big ones. Tim I think of you often and feel heartbroken for you, it unimaginable and continuing to shine as best you can as Phoebe would. I am happy knowing that you have known a love so beautiful and so strong, that you and Phoebe were an incredible team. 🤍

I read somewhere once that time doesn’t heal but we learn to live with the grief and make space for it in our heart. We feel grief because of how deeply we loved.

Sending you my love on this day and all days. I feel so privileged to have met you both, always a place in my heart. xx
