So, what has Sherine Burl Celebrant been up to lately?

In between wedding bookings, meeting new couples, planning and writing ceremonies, I have also been honoured to be the Celebrant of a few funerals.

Today, I gathered with 6 celebrants, and under the guidance of , we enhanced our knowledge of the funeral space and the importance of the role we play as a Celebrant.

An afternoon walk through the wetlands with my dog was a calming way to think back over everything we discussed today.

Thank you Fiona for sharing your knowledge and wisdom in dealing with grief and funerals.

4th July 2025 - Congratulations to J & T on their fabulous wedding yesterday. We had so much fun together planning their ceremony and celebrating their wedding with their closest family & friends. And, the weather was incredible, 18C and blue skies in July!!!

This was also a special day for me as I celebrated 7 years as a Marriage Celebrant!

4/7/2018 was the date I was registered by the Attorney General Department of Australia, and I still pinch myself that I have this fabulous superpower and honour to have married almost 300 couples.

Throwback to my wedding day!

Damien and I said 'I do' on November 9th, 1996, and almost 30 years have passed - it's surreal!

Our ceremony was held in the manicured gardens at Sages Cottage, Baxter, and everything about it was just perfect.

I feel so lucky to have found my calling as a Celebrant, as I get to be a part of so many amazing love stories - and I'm still a total romantic at heart! ❤️

Congratulations C & C on finally tying the knot in front of your fabulous guests who embraced you both and your ceremony

Although it was cool and fresh, we were outside mid-June at All Smiles Sorrento, and the day couldn't have been more perfect.

It was amazing to reconnect with the brides Mum, who I worked with 30+ years ago in the CBA!! Small world
