ELOPED IN A BOOKSHOP 📚 When wasn't available to do his signature Bookstore Elopement on this couple's significant date, photographer Kat asked me to step in. And then Kat got called up for Jury Duty! So the lovely came on board to associate shoot the elopement for Kat.

Kitty & I had so much fun getting these two book nerds hitched in one of Perth's most unique and beautiful bookshops

The couple said:

Sally provided all the paperwork needed, coached us through what was required and offered her help with vows and vow writing.

2. Make your own traditions. Don't be bullied into doing something just because someone thinks you 'should'. But if there's a wedding tradition that lights you up, make sure it's included.

A RELAXED PERTH CBD LUNCHTIME WEDDING

INCLUDING CHILDREN IN YOUR WEDDING OR ELOPEMENT CEREMONY 💕 My ceremonies are inclusive and children are welcome. If we need to pause the ceremony for you to cuddle or comfort a child, that's fine!

Some kids love having a role to play in a ceremony, and may even be spotlight-stealers, but we should never put pressure on them to 'perform'. And some definitely do not want all eyes on them, or are too young to be actively involved.

We often think of children being flower girls or ring bearers in a wedding ceremony, but there are a lot more opportunities to include kids without them having a formal role.

ELOPING ON HOLIDAYS ☀️Eloping used to mean running away to marry, so why not lean in and elope while on holiday in Perth? This couple did! Their private, simple and beautiful beachside airbnb elopement ceremony was totally organised from inter-state, with the right vendors - like me and photographer Kat - making the process easy for these busy mums.
