Flannel flower. Always loved them! Delicate spring native blooms delightfully delicate.
The process of it all coming together - from sketch and shading to color and final touches.

My first poppy study in watercolour.

I took a bunch of photos last time I had poppies at home.

Took time to capture different angles and colours.

It was a garden variety grown commercially in Australia. Many shades from white to peach, pink, yellow and orange. No true red with black center. Need to find good photos of them to have a go 🧐

I fascinated by beauty of flowers and leaves. Painting them brings so much joy.
Exploring watercolours is a long awaited dream coming true. So happy with the start, so many beautiful flowers waiting to leap on paper 🌺

Card making with real pressed and dried flowers and foliages is so much fun!

This workshop brings together elements of nature and hands on relaxing “You” time. Mix colors and textures, go wild or styled - it’s your artistic expression on paper. Beautiful botanical collage to take home!
