"Where do we even start. Everything was just perfect. First of all, Morgan and Juliette have been with us and supported us every step of the way since we locked in Fins as our wedding venue. Morgan and the team were also there on the day, making everything absolutely seamless.
Our guests kept mentioning how incredible and tentative all the staff were on the day and there was not a single moment any of our guests had an empty glass, which was very appreciated. And the food!! It is out of this world. I am vegan and Snowy and his chefs went above and beyond to make sure the most amazing vegan food was served to me. For guests without any dietary requirements, we had a grazing style kind of dinner and all of our friends and family kept mentioning this was the best food they ever had at a wedding.
Especially the pork belly with king prawn starter and Snowy’s fish main was mentioned several times the days after. We even brought some leftovers with us and got to enjoy the food the day after as well! Guests have also been reaching out to us requesting the wine list as this was also on point. On top of all of this, the venue and backdrop is incredible and we could not be happier with our location photos and videos. Thank you Morgan, Snowy and the team for creating our dream wedding!"

The season is just starting and we are looking for someone special. This role is primarily in operations & event creation. We are currently listed in the Best Wedding Venues in Australia so this is a career opportunity worth looking at. Our approach is hands on. We are dynamic, we have fun, we have attention to detail, we are passionate and we cut no corners. We do events at the highest level. Extensive training is provided. An ideal role for someone keen to work 3-4 day week. Option of full time of casual. Outstanding tips.
Candidates require:
-Front of house hospitality experience (event experience not essential)
-A “yes” attitude
-Open minded excitement for the wedding/ event industry
-Current RSA
-Ability to lead a team (you will be well supported)
-Available weekends (primarily Thurs- Sat)
-Confidence, elegance and friendly disposition

Fins at Plantation House is an iconic wedding destination, set amidst a 65 hectares lush tropical fruit plantation. The venue offers an elegant and luxe reception and ceremony space with breathtaking views and picturesque backdrops for your photography.
Renovated mid 2017, this old Victorian house offers an undercover dining area as well as a ¼ hectare garden. Our maximum capacity is 300 people. The main dining area seats up to 250 people amidst an enchanted secret garden with falling vines and an elegant French iron water fountain. The venue provides a distinct luxe plantation style. Our back garden is the perfect environment to set up live food bars, pop-up cocktail hour, lawn games and lounging for your post ceremony experience.
Complimentary Ceremony Experience
Bespoke weddings. Fins at Plantation House offers the most sought-after ceremony location on the coast. Your ceremony back drop will overlook volcanic Mt Warning. Shaded by a flowering Poinciana tree, with rolling green lawns, a circular drive for bridal cars, French garden furniture and our signature sunset backdrop. The location provides outstanding scenery for your photography. If you prefer a more intimate and private setting, we also offer ceremonies in our fruit orchard. Here you will find a 120-year-old fig tree to set the backdrop scene. Fins at Plantation House also offers a wet weather back up option.
Our signature onsite cactus garden is the ultimate photo location for your bridal pictures.
Venue Hire Fee: $8,990 (2019-2020, subject to change)
