Instead of polluting the planet with confetti, hole punch leaves instead! Fully biodegradable, and so cute!🖤🖤🖤

Have you ever been to Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat? Its a high-end couples retreat, perfect for an elopement and honeymoon in one. The views from the lodges are some of the most stunning we've seen and you can have your ceremony next to a true wilderness creek. Here are a few photos of recent elopements there to whet your appetite.

Our photo from a great little retreat/cottage, which as you can see is not far from Mt. Warning. You could have your elopement ceremony here on the farm, or by the creek that flows from this sacred mountain. And then stay in cosy luxury for a few nights. What could be more relaxing and heart-warming?

Mt Warning Estate is a beautiful 300-acre property at the foot of Mt Warning ( Wollumbin ) in the Tweed Valley of Northern New South Wales. It is a place of fantastic views, heritage buildings, and luxury accommodation. It is ideal for a romantic get-a-way.

Late last year we had a beautiful elopement that gradually turned into a micro-wedding as they sometimes do! The ceremony was held on the hill-top at Mavis's Kitchen and Cabin's @ Mt Warning and the reception was held in the garden next to the restaurant - perfect for a summer wedding! You may have heard that Mavis's is changing hands, we wish Peter and Charlie all the best for their next chapter down in Tassie. We have been to so many wonderful weddings and other events At Mavis's and are sure it will continue as an outstanding venue! Here are a few photos from Cass and Josh's wedding. One of the things that was important to them was that it was a dog-friendly event.

Elopements and micro-weddings are now so popular even the ABC News is talking about them! We have two new couples who've had to cancel their big weddings, but they're really happy with the way their new smaller ones are coming together. and with the support and ideas we've been able to give them. 💛💛

With coronavirus restrictions "changing the vibe" of wedding days around the country, couples and businesses are re-evaluating how to deliver on the dream.

As well as one of our favourite places for lunch, this cafe is a beautiful spot for your elopement, with its creek frontage and shady trees. If that interests you, let us know and we'll talk to the owners about reserving a more private spot for you.

I just learnt a new expression in this very interesting article - micro-weddings. I'm going to start using that! Here are some couples who so wanted to be married, they went ahead and downsized their wedding plans.

Weddings have been a part of Australia's coronavirus story since the start of the pandemic and have in many ways served as a barometer for how we're going. Karen Tong asked four couples how they negotiated restrictions to create a wedding day to remember.

Just days before the Co-vid restrictions sent us all into lockdown, this lovely couple, Sarah and Geoff, made the journey from Canberra to be married under the trees at Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat This site is so secluded and so immersed in nature, the only sounds were the creek and the birdsong. You could feel how much they had been longing and waiting for this moment and we all had tears in our eyes as they made their vows. Lucille created a beautiful ceremony for them which included the lighting of candles for all their children. Afterwards we went on a forest walk choosing the best locations for some very romantic photos.

Do you know the Tweeds best secret wedding location? Stunning wide vistas of water and nature and usually hardly a soul around? Its Cram's Farm, south of Uki. We were there last week, photographing a very intimate elopement ceremony for Krystle and James. Here are a few favourite photos from the day:
