Sally (a newbie golfer not even a year in) and Dan (a pro with a swing smoother than butter) are taking on Cancer Council’s The Longest Day …

… 72 holes in one day. Yes… that’s four full rounds of golf and countless swings, and probably a few lost balls (hopefully not Dan’s). Yes… we might need an ice bath. And yes… Sally will probably still be hunting for her ball on hole one while Dan’s finishing hole 18.

We’re talking sunrise tee-offs, sunset putts, and more balls lost than a Saturday at the local driving range. All to raise funds for life-saving cancer research.

Sponsor our team and you’ll be helping us drive out cancer, chip away at the problem, and putt an end to it once and for all.

Because this challenge isn’t just par for the course — it’s about going the distance, staying out of the rough, and making sure cancer is well and truly out-of-bounds.

It’s us fore the cure. Now, who’s ready to help us swing at cancer?

Help us score big — Grip it, click it, and sponsor us through the link 😘🙏🙏🙏⛳️

Our team is taking on Cancer Council’s The Longest Day – the ultimate golf challenge to complete four rounds in one day. 1 in 2 Australians will be impacted by cancer by 85, please support us as we tee off for vital cancer research. With your support, it's all of us against cancer.

Pottery Events

Hi, I’m Sally Hobson- the proprietor of Hazy Tales Pottery Studio located in Drysdale on the Bellarine Peninsula.

This page will showcase all events and classes. For products for sale please visit https://www.facebook.com/hazytales/

I first dabbled in pottery as a student more than 20 years ago. My passion for the art form was reignited after moving to Australia from the UK 7 years ago.

After studying photography at Derby University in England and working in development and marketing, in a commercial photography studio and running my own wedding and portrait business. I am back to making things with my hands which is very rewarding seeing my ideas come to fruition. It’s a creative exploration being able to make and sell my own products and share my knowledge with other people in workshops and classes. It’s an art form that you continue to learn new processes indefinitely.
