We are running out of dry places for the orphans at night time. Don’t think the original residents are happy with the new neighbours. They are certainly too loud.

I was crazy busy finishing the shearing this week, so was missing in action for International Womens Day on Monday. Thank you to the VFF for the inclusion in this worthy celebration. Hats off to my fellow colleagues on the land.

During NAIDOC week, acknowledgements to the traditional owners of the land were placed in each of the buildings at Sylvania Park. We acknowledge and pay respect to the Wotjobaluk, Wergaia, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, and Jupagulk peoples on whose ancestral lands we reside.

Sylvania Park offers more than accommodation and function venues. You can experience many activities on the property including bike riding, fishing, kite flying, egg collecting, enjoying the peacefulness of Wimmera river and meeting the friendly animals.

It is with this study in mind that today we are launching the Sylvania Park ‘Kid Cam’. A once a week footage of our tiniest goats playing on anything handy. Hope they make you smile.

In a 2020 study from the University of Leeds and Western Australia Tourism, it's been found that watching cute animals is good for our health.
