ADV FEST LEGENDS.

This video is from ADV FEST 2025… and honestly, this is what the adventure riding community is all about.

This rider lost his bike in a creek crossing and it stayed there for a FULL 24 HOURS before a local farmer helped drag it back out.

Most people would’ve packed it in right there.

Not him.

He still made it to ADV FEST… muddy, battered, probably questioning life choices 😂

Now here’s the ironic part…

The ONLY thing he actually lost in the creek was his Nomad Moto 40L Roll Bag 😅

Yep — he was already running Nomad Moto gear before all this happened.

The bike came back.
The bag didn’t.
So at ADV FEST… he ended up winning himself another Nomad Moto 40L Roll Bag 😂⚡

That’s the stuff you can’t script.

This is what ADV FEST is about.
Not perfect rides.
Not polished Instagram moments.

Just real riders, real adventures, creek crossings gone wrong, good people helping each other out… and somehow still ending up around the campfire with a story to tell.

This is a flashback… and a good one.
About 8 months ago I rolled out to Lachie’s place — just me, my mobile phone, no big setup, just real moments.
Lachie was the winner of the CFMOTO 450MT from ADV FEST 2025… and this was the first time catching up with him after it all happened.

ADV FEST RIDERS — SYDNEY SUNDAY RUN HOME 🏍️

If you’re heading back to Sydney from Dorrigo, here’s how I’d run it.

Leave early — 7:30am latest if you want a clean day.

From Dorrigo to Armidale, you can either:

Stay on the bitumen and make time
Or jump back onto the ADV route if you’re feeling it

From there, you’ve got options:

New England Highway — fast, easy run home
Adventure route — longer, better riding if you’ve got the energy
Or head down through Bellingen → Coffs Harbour → M1 if you want the quickest way back

No right or wrong — just ride your level.

That’s how I do it.

We’ve just opened up a brand new camping area… and this one’s got a different vibe 👇
🏕️ LOWER DECK CAMPING
🔥 Bonfires allowed – proper ADV style
🚻 Portaloos down there
🚿 Showers are up top (short walk back)
We could pack more riders in…
But we’re capping it at 50 spots only to keep it dialled in and not overcrowded.
