TOM FOSTER ROLLS IN.

My editor from 2010 to 2022. We built Adventure Rider Magazine together — cheap motels, twin beds, whatever it took to get the job done for the readers. That mag was always about the readers. Nothing else.

He doesn't book a ticket. He doesn't make a thing of it. He just turns up at ADV FEST every year, throws an arm around, says g'day, and disappears again.

Twelve years in the trenches with a bloke and that's what's left — he still shows up.

ADV FEST 2027 — YOU TALKED. WE LISTENED.

Two big changes coming.

1. PORTABLE TOILETS NEAR RECEPTION.
You asked. Done. No more route march at 2am.

2. NO MORE CATERING. FIVE FOOD TRUCKS + TWO COFFEE VANS.

Here's the honest version — we were never chefs. We were just middlemen taking your money and handing it to someone else. That's not a job we need to be doing.

For years we couldn't get food trucks to Dorrigo. We asked. Nobody knew us. Now they do — the numbers are proven and the circle's open.

So in 2027 you get:

5 local food trucks
2 coffee vans
Real choice, real variety, order what you want when you want it
Sit down and eat in the dining hall, same room as the workshops

More options. Better coffee. Money staying local.

NO CATERING. NO MIDDLEMAN. JUST GOOD FOOD AND BIG RIDES.

DR-Z400 on the left running a Stockman 25L. T7 on the right running Scout + 7L Mini Gibb. Both rackless, both loaded, both got out there.

Doesn't matter what you ride. Just ride it.
