Melbourne Star is back! 🥳 the tallest obersavtion wheel in the southern hemisphere is back at The District Docklands spinning Thursday 15 October. 🎡

7,000 of you came down just to watch the lights come back on. That was just the beginning.

An all new experience. New VIP cabins, new screens, a new story the whole way up, and lighting that runs full colour across the entire wheel.

Open day and night, seven days a week. Sunset is going to be spectacular.

Turns out your kids are excellent liars. 🔴 Saboteurs Aus is a real-life Among Us — a moon base where Crew race to complete tasks and Impostors quietly pick them off, one by one. Up to 15 players. Nobody trusts anybody. Someone’s little brother turns out to be a criminal mastermind.

These school holidays, 20 September – 4 October, there are two ways to play:
Book one session and the second is free — 75 minutes for the price of 45. It’s a $35 add-on that costs nothing, ticked at checkout, so add it before you pay.

Or grab the All Day Pass: $24 on top of general admission and they’re in from 10am to 5pm across every game — Original Map, Dark Map, Dark Map B, Find Bonkers! and Mr Wolf. Wristband on arrival, then play until they’re done. Worth $194.

Urban Alley Brewery is opening early to show Rams v 49ers live on the big screen — doors from 10am, Friday 11 September.

If you couldn’t get a ticket, this is the next best room in Docklands: full pours, a big screen, and a crowd that will absolutely explain the rules to each other incorrectly for four quarters.

Get in early, claim a good spot, and let someone else make the coffee-or-b**r decision for you.

Rams v 49ers on Friday, and you need official merch. Rinkside has official NFL gear in for the game — the new Melbourne Mustangs x Globe store, just across from O’Brien Icehouse.

It’s not only NFL either. The racks run deep on throwbacks: Tom Brady, Marshawn Lynch, old-school Dickerson Rams, Oakland Raiders. There’s a Brady Michigan piece in there for the purists. Plus NBA — Pippen, MJ-era Bulls, and Sonics jerseys, which feel like a smart buy right about now.

Le Yeahllow has opened at The District, and if you spend any time on Melbourne food Instagram you already know the work — pistachio Paris-Brest piped like rope, tiramisu layered into a cup, slices with better structural integrity than most apartments.

Japanese finesse, French flavour, Melbourne made.

It sits on the ground floor in that warm terracotta fit-out, which means it works two ways: coffee and a pastry on your way in, or a boxed cake on your way out when you’ve remembered someone’s birthday with about an hour of daylight left.

Rinkside is officially open. 🏒 The Melbourne Mustangs have their first-ever store — and it’s here at The District, just across from O’Brien Icehouse where they play.

Built in collaboration with GLOBE, it’s part team store, part streetwear destination. Mustangs jerseys, hoodies and tees sit alongside Thrasher, Stance, Ritual Vision and more. Nothing else like it in Australian ice hockey.

And the timing? Finals weekend. If you need your Mustangs gear before the puck drops at O’Brien Icehouse, this is where you get it.
