Trigger warning ‼️
This land isn’t just a backdrop for weddings, it’s where life happens. The beautiful parts, the exhausting parts and of course those heart breaking moments too.
Last week we lost one of our baby calves after his mum sadly rejected him. From the moment he was born, our amazing owner Louise wouldn’t leave his side, feeding him two hourly, keeping him warm in blankets and encouraging him to keep fighting. We tired absolutely everything.
A massive thankyou to for the mutiple after hours calls, visits and care along the way. Aswell to our farming friends, Pete & Shirley & Paul.
Mum of the calf is still doing well and the rest of the herd are enjoying the new arrival of Teddy.
This has been a difficult week, confronting & cruel. We are reminded how delicate life is & so thankful for the experience to care for eddy and to be able to share our home and hearts with you all.
