Hi, it’s me!

I’ve had a lot of enquires lately asking me if I am still officiating weddings. Fair enough too, given that my last Facebook post was over 2 years ago.

The answer is very much a yes. I have been very busy behind the scenes juggling 2 young bubs but have still been out and about meeting and marrying lovely couples in the top end. Stay tuned for some content over the next few weeks, starting with the most amazing backyard wedding of Annabelle and Dion earlier this year.

I am now taking bookings for 2024 and Saturdays are filling up quickly. Please reach out if you’d like to meet up for a coffee and a chat.

Peewees at the Point, Larrakia Country.

What a spine tingling processional! With Dylan being a musician, music was always going to be a huge part of this ceremony. When Emma walked in, looking like that with a Gang of Youths song playing, you can only imagine the feels Dylan would have been having.

Such a beautiful couple and so happy they got to celebrate their long awaited wedding.

Bring your baby to work day!

Being a celebrant is such a cool job and being a celebrant in the territory is the best! Thank you to my beautiful couples for being so relaxed and understanding whilst I’ve been working out this wild ride. Millie has come along for a couple of set ups but don’t worry she didn’t wedding crash any ceremonies.

Covid has caused havoc for so many couples trying to get married. Cancelled plans, lost money, plenty of stress. Many people have opted for a smaller wedding ceremony after having to cancel larger plans the year before.

There is certainly no love lost in having a smaller ceremony. In fact, I have found some of these ceremonies to be the most beautiful. For Amy and Jez this was definitely the case. They got married in front of a handful of close family and friends.

Also present to witness the occasion was their furbaby Ned. I was taking him home for them after the ceremony and the poor bloke escaped and ran back to them. I could hear the whole wedding party roaring with laughter as he remade his entrance.

Thank you to Amy and Jez for having me as their celebrant. And thank you to Ned for eventually cooperating with me.

Window on the Wetlands, Woolner Country.

This was the first time I had done a ceremony at Window on the Wetlands. Since it's closure last year it has mostly been unused. Candice and Cam received permission from the traditional owners to get married there, overlooking the beautiful wetlands on the Arnhem Highway.

Cam and Candice's ceremony had a real focus on their two families coming together. It was such a pleasure to be involved in this.

Also.. who doesn't love wedding photos with the fur babies!

These two were all smiles during their beautiful garden wedding earlier this year. Their ceremony was family focused and had a lovely relaxed vibe.

Hi friends,

After a mini hiatus and a long social media break I'm back. I had a little girl back in March who has been keeping me very busy. After only doing a handful of friends weddings this year I've decided it's time to get my facebook act together.

I particularly love the photo of Megan Bennett and I having a moment just before she walked down the aisle. I will always come and greet the bride as she arrives, give a hug, a pep talk and try to settle the nerves.
