Yesterday I had the privilege of celebrating Dipen and Happy in a beautifully intimate ceremony, held in the open air and surrounded by some of their loved ones.

While simple and relaxed, their ceremony gently honoured their Indian culture, weaving tradition into a moment that felt deeply personal and meaningful. A perfect reminder that saying “I do” should always feel like you — authentic, intentional, and true to your story.

Pinterest is dreamy but one of the biggest wedding planning mistakes is choosing vendors based on looks alone 🤍

A few things to watch out for when booking your wedding team:

✨ Picking purely off Instagram photos — gorgeous feeds don’t always show how someone works on the day, instead reach out to your vendors and get a feel for how they operate.
✨ Vendors who don’t “get” you — if they don’t understand your vision, it can feel stressful later
✨ Leaving key vendors too late — celebrants, venues and photographers often book out early
✨ Forgetting logistics — travel, timing and locations matter more than you think
