We design food and flower experiences for the events industry. The brand derives from mum and dad being butchers in Dubbo (Roy and Suellyn Seaman). I grew up on a sheep farm outside of town called Nepunya, and got my concept of food and flowers from the displays my folks did in their butcher shop with fruits and vegetables. From age seven I would forage with my best friend Heidi in and around Dubb

o. We would pick flowers from all the gardens in the streets surrounding her house and dress the dining table and serve cups of tea. I loved to cook and would make meals and serve them like a waitress when mum and dad had friends over. I loaded the table with flowers I found and decorations I made in my room. I worked in the shop with my sister Emma starting as cashier in the fruit section when I was 12. Their shop was the only in the region to not have to use saw dust as a method of collecting fat from off the floors. They sold fruits and vegetables and styled the shop with old wares including a tin bath that now lives in my garden. My two week work experience at Captain Cook Cruises had me leave school in year 10 to join the Howarth family as kitchen hand then called galley girl. I moved from below to top deck commentating about Sydney and her beautiful harbour to the tourists on board and selling tickets at the cashier. When I was in year eight I started cutting out all the red 1968 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500’s from Dad's Unique Car Magazines. I made a collage in my wardrobe so when I got out my outfit I would get a glimpse of a beast. Eastern Creek raceway became my weekender when I moved to Sydney and I whole heartedly know my uncle Geoff Thompson (GT) rivals my magazine collection. Prior to opening I managed large scale catering companies Bayleaf Catering and Aria Catering by Matt Moran. This took me to tour Australia with ACDC, Lady Gaga, U2 and Foo Fighters, and produce Gold Dinner, TEDx Sydney, Silver Park, Magic Millions, Dinner en Blanc and New Years Eve at the Sydney Opera House. Brands Butchers Daughter work with include SBS, Porsche, Canon, Pinterest, Mastercard, Jaguar, Lindt, Doritos, Johnnie Walker, Red Rock Deli, AIA Vitality With David Beckham, Gilbert + Tobin, Dexus, Microsoft, Samsung, TikTok, Peugeot, SMEG, LinkedIn, Foxtel, Yahoo, Tourism Australia, New Zealand Tourism, Western Australia Tourism, Living Edge, King Living, Pretty Little Thing, BBC, Vogue and our private clients whom remain our special secret. Butchers Daughter is in sentiment to the past forward and from the heart. Everything about her is a display of my affection towards Michael, family and my friends. Every experience has to be as special as they make me feel. Luck has my side I have the same circle since school. My garden is dedicated to these souls, each with a log house somewhere unseen but only to me.
