Death Chat 💀
Not a topic I bring up too regularly on this platform as it’s usually all love, sequins and jazz hands. 👐
But news flash, death happens to us all. We are all affected in one way or another at different times across our lives. It’s inevitable.
Losing a loved one is one of life’s most gut wrenching experiences, and there is no one-size fits all to the grieving process.
What we can control though is the kind of send off we give to our loved ones once they die.
Whether it be a funeral, private cremation ceremony, memorial or celebration of life, this is not only the final chance for you to honour your person, but also a vital part of your grieving journey, the door way into the next slow step forward.
Over the past two years of working in the space, I have learnt just how powerful and important this part of the process is. I’ve also learned by hearing from others around me, how wrong some companies or celebrants can get it, and the empty, unfinished feeling that leaves with a family 💔.
So I am putting this out there loud and proud, to say to my community, you don’t even need to feel that regret.
There are so many options when it comes to after death care and ways you can farewell a person.
All you need to do is reach out and ask.
I am aligned with the absolute best in the funeral biz, .sydney
I choose to work with Lilian and Nicque because not only have they mentored me and taught me so much about this space, but the level of care and dignity they provide families is beyond measure.
They approach every arrangement with empathy and authenticity and unlike the big profit driven companies, they offer completely transparent pricing, no extortionate mark ups and the most genuine, personalised service.
I also work independently as a celebrant which means you can bring me on board any time, even if you have already engaged a company to arrange the rest.
So please, if you have any questions reach out.
And this may not be needed for now, but in the future you never just know. So pop it in the back pocket of your brain and think of me when the time arrives.
And in the meantime, love fiercely and live large! You only get one go.
