Some wedding moments are extra special. 🤍

Chelsea & Max chose two pretty important people to put their signatures on their marriage certificate — Chelsea’s Grandad George and Max’s Nanna Patricia.

And for me, there was another little layer to this one.

Earlier this year, I had the privilege of helping Chelsea and her family farewell her beautiful Nan, Diane — George’s much-loved wife.

So seeing George again, this time celebrating his granddaughter getting married, was really quite special. ❤️

We made sure Diane was acknowledged and remembered during the ceremony too — because the people we love don’t stop being part of our family’s story just because they can’t physically be there for the next chapter.

One of the really beautiful parts of this job is that sometimes I’m invited into some of life’s hardest days… and then, every now and again, I get to come back for one of the happiest.

And that’s pretty bloody special. 🥹

A wedding 40 years in the making! 💙

Rolando and Peter officially broke a record for me — the longest any of my couples has been together before getting married!

After four decades of sharing life together, they celebrated their marriage surrounded by a handful of their closest friends. It was intimate, joyful and so, so special, with an incredible amount of love in the room.

Rolando and Peter, what an absolute privilege it was to help you finally make it official.

Astrid and Scott married at Thehomesteadberry on Saturday and it was beautiful!

Their gorgeous mums witnessed them sign their official paperwork and it was such a special and happy moment 🤍🤍
