ieving it is not how tall or strong you are but how you work with these majestic animals. Mandy is only 4'11" tall; however, she is a giant compassionate leader moving their feet easily. Mandy is extremely passionate about helping women regain confidence lost due to aging or a negative experience. Through her Foundation Horsemanship Clinics, she teaches, or as she says, gives horse owners the tools to train their own horses. It was once said, "Frustration begins where Knowledge Ceases"… Mandy has found people become frustrated when their communication with their horse breaks down. Mandy empowers horse owners to feel more confident interacting with their horses, by providing the tools and knowledge to enable them to work with their horses, i.e. in the form of ground control and ridden exercises. Mandy also has a keen interest in Cowboy Dressage, endeavouring to spread the word about this fast-growing horse sport. Mandy loves the discipline and training behind the dressage but is a true Cowgirl enjoying her western saddle and fully embraces the' Cowgirl Way of Life." Mandy also has a passion for Community and Youth work so in 2023 will see her present Sue Spence Communications Horses Helping Humans programme. We started with basic groundwork today and other ground work skills needed to complete the manoeuvres in Walk Walk test 4.
Not as easy as it may read on paper. A great insight of where you are at with your ground skills with your horse, and just a really fun test.
Two groups of great ladies, it was great to see pen and paper in hand and notes being taken! Bring on the next four days 🤠

🌟 How Cowboy Dressage Began 🌟
Back in 1993, at the Morgan Grand National Show, something incredible happened. Eitan Beth- Halachmy and his champion Morgan stallion, Holiday Compadre, stepped into the arena for what would become an unforgettable victory lap.
Instead of following the usual script, Eitan showed the world that a Western horse could be so much more. With soft feel, lightness, and true partnership, Holiday Compadre glided from a western pleasure jog to an extended trot, spun like a reiner, slid to a stop, and even performed a canter pirouette.
In that moment, they broke the mold of what a Western horse was “supposed” to do and a brand-new style was born.
That style would soon be known as Cowboy Dressage. 🤠✨🐴

Spent the week with our handsome Grandson ❤️ It was so nice to just be Mimi for the week, leave the Professional horsewoman behind and focus on making memories, oh and the school drop offs and pickups now that's fun 🤣🤣🤣 had it sorted by the Wednesday. The most precious gift we have to give is our time ❤️❤️ As Ezra said let's take a selfie to remember our time together ❤️

Mandy is extremely passionate about helping women regain confidence lost due to ageing or a negative experience. Through her Ladies Horsemanship Clinics, she teaches, or as she explains, gives horse owners the tools to train their own horse using the “move your feet” approach and philosophy. Cowgirl Retreats are her speciality she enjoys spending time with women watching their Horsemanship and Partnership grow. Mandy also has a keen interest in Rider and Horse Bio Mechanics and recently became a student of the Straightness Training Academy to further enhance her training and horses well being.
