Let’s talk about something we don’t always say out loud… festival anxiety as a face painter.

The long lines.
The clock watching.
The pressure to paint fast and beautifully.

Now I’m typically a private booking girly through and through, BUT here’s 5 tips that help me brave those festival days!

🖌 Festival design board = fast, repeatable designs
🖌 Arrive early & set up calmly
🖌 Keep your kit minimal and organised
🖌 Hydrate and stretch your hands
🖌 Celebrate every finished face, it’s probably your only decent 1v1 time with your mini client!

If you’re thinking about stepping out of the private party gigs and into market madness, don’t let the anxiety stop you! Some of the most magical clients I’ve met from these events!
You’re not “slow,” you’re not “behind,” and you’re definitely not the only one who feels it. Festival days are a marathon, not a sprint. ✨
