Jemma & Curtis got married. Apparently, I was invited to officiate
A beautiful day at The Chapel Montville, celebrating two people who clearly made an excellent life decision……and then somehow thought it was a good idea to let me hold the microphone
There were vows.
There were tears.
There was love.
There was laughter.
And, judging by the photographic evidence, there were several moments where nobody was entirely sure what the hell was going on
Huge congratulations to Jemma & Curtis absolute legends who somehow managed to make getting married look this much fun

Every wedding has those guests.....But that's exactly what makes weddings unforgettable.
As a celebrant, I get a front-row seat to it all:
The happy tears.
The terrible dance moves.
The endless selfies.
The uncle who's somehow at the bar before the ceremony finishes.
And the moments nobody plans that become everyone's favourite memories.
No two weddings are ever the same... but somehow the guest commentary always is!

The face you pull when you realise your wedding permit costs more than your honeymoon flights!
Noosa is one of Australia's most spectacular wedding destinations, but a $799 non-refundable permit for a ceremony on public land is making many couples think twice. Comparable councils charge anywhere from FREE to around $90, with Sunshine Coast at $82 and Gold Coast beaches at $0.
Couples aren't not asking for special treatment, they are asking for a fair, transparent fee that helps keep Noosa competitive for couples, local businesses and tourism
But hey, I travel all over Australia, so can marry you anywhere if Noosa isn't the option!

As family and friends gathered to share their stories and memories, one theme echoed throughout the service, Mark's unwavering loyalty to the people he loved
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, son, brother, uncle and a great mate to so many. Mark had a remarkable gift in the kitchen, seemingly able to cook anything, and he lived life with commitment, generosity and a quick sense of humour that could brighten any room. He loved his bike, had a legendary affection for “Mary Jane” and was known for always putting others before himself. Kind, giving and endlessly loyal, Mark's greatest legacy is the love and friendship he shared with those around him. And while he had many wonderful qualities, those who knew him best would agree he had one flaw, his unwavering love of the bloody Dolphins.
As Mark’s son Alex shared the life of his father, he was supported by sister Bella!�"Some men leave memories; Mark, you left stories, smiles and friendships that will be treasured forever."
