Hope to see you all at Cooran Acoustic Night on Sat 5th Sept! This is our local, family friendly blackboard night in the Cooran Hall. Doors open 5.30pm to put your name on the board, and performances start at 6pm. From beginners to seasoned performers, a supportive local crowd would love to hear what you have been practicing in the living room! $5 entry, all proceeds go back to the maintenance of our beautiful hall.

Door prizes available donated by the community, please consider donating if you can!

Enjoy delicious dinner, chai and cakes from The Curry Kid from 5.30pm until sold out.

Did you know our hall chairs have all been sprayed to protect them from water damage/general dirt and wear and tear?
The protective spray has been carefully selected to be water-based and non-toxic.

Do you love our Iconic Cooran Hall?
Are you interested in joining our team?
This is a paid position, $450 per month. Please read below, We will not be responding to comments or PMs on FB.
The duties of the position requires attendance:
• Weekly - usually 2 to 3 hours a week over 2 visits based around the regular hirers’ classes and events. We can let you know of the gaps in the hall hire although this can change so it is essential you can be flexible.
• Sometimes – depending on the events at the hall, there may be times we need to call on you especially if there has been a mess left by a hirer or in the lead up to a big event. This is rare but can happen.
The duties required for the job include:
The sweeping and mopping of the floors of the main hall, stage and kitchen.
The cleaning and maintenance of the toilets and checking bins and supplies.
Cleaning of the tables and surfaces.
Putting bins out on Tuesday evening and returning them back to the hall Wednesday morning.
Depending if there is time – spot cleaning of walls, windows, fans etc
Checking for rubbish at the front, back and side of the hall.
Other duties required to keep the Hall clean and functional.
