Lana and Dylan’s wedding was a last-minute addition to our calendar, and when the venue is Montsalvat, there really was no way I could say no.
A hidden castle just outside Melbourne, where time seems to lose its usual charm and creativity is everywhere you look. The kind of place that makes you a little bit of a believer in magic.
Lana and Dylan didn’t even look at any other options. The moment they saw Montsalvat, it was a definite YES. Sharing their love of adventure and fantasy with their family and friends at such a unique place was the cherry on top.
Although I met Lana and Dylan for the first time on their wedding day, it didn’t take long to see the incredibly close connection and love they have for each other. And the way Dylan looked at Lana for the first time… absolutely priceless.
There were plenty of tears and plenty of laughter, from the moment Lana walked down the aisle to the moment they said their “I do’s”. And it kept going while we took photos with their “bigger-than-life” bridal party and enjoyed canapés by the beautiful pool.
Their main focus was simple: to celebrate their love in a big way, surrounded by the people they love.
And then the wine and beers started flowing, the extraordinary light show came to life, and the dance floor opened with a beautiful choreographed first dance.
Every move was executed to perfection, and when Dylan and Lana finished the dance with a deep dip, everyone joined them on the dance floor, dancing around the couple and keeping the party going all night.
A little bit of adventure, a little bit of fantasy, lots of love, and one seriously unforgettable wedding day. ✨
