TOILE // The first fitting as part of our custom made process. Originating from the French word (pronounced twarhl) referring to a prototype or fitting version of a garment that's made up in an inexpensive fabric so that the design can be tested and perfected.

The name comes from the fabric of the same name that was originally used in their construction – a translucent linen or cotton fabric.

Here are some photos of the toiling development process and one of the final pieces that evolved from this process - our New Rośe gown.

SOMETHING BLUE // As part of .and.Archer and presents a refined blend of bespoke fashion and couture jewellery. Celebrating heirlooms, Something Blue, pays homage to the symbolic traditions of “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,” evoking a sense of romance and history woven into each piece.

The event features Asher and Archer’s custom designs alongside Silent Dove’s lapis lazuli and pearl pieces in a runway show and exhibition at the Abbotsford Convent’s Good Shepherd Chapel Gallery.
