A COUNTRY WEDDING

Sect amongst green pastures our beautiful bride got to say I DO with the most magical flowers. Everything she had envisaged on a bouquet was became real for her.
I carefully selected the dahlias I knew would complement her dress and her bridesmaid dresses. “I would like yellow and red dahlias please” she requested.
A tricky mix yet if you select the right tones of these 2 colours it works!

We still have places available this coming Summer/ Autumn 2025/26 bridal bouquets.

Drenching in the views of Valencia.
We have been walking the streets of this calmer city where the locals are friendly and cook well. Eating amongst the locals outside yesterday we tried their patatas bravas (brave potatoes) they were delicious. Today at lunch the influence of Napoli in Spain we ate pizza Fritta. It’s like a pizza turned over and fried. Not my favourite but not bad. Everything is fresh.
This beautiful bougainvillea would be fab to grow at home but won’t resist the frost. I stopped to take a pic and drench in the beauty.
I found this lovely apartment amongst many that are fully tiled in colour. Isn’t it gorgeous!?
Now for a swim down the beach at a warm 31 degrees and if you were wondering the water is just as warm 😎

A beautiful visit to in Barcelona Spain. We spoke about flowers, seeds, soil, tubers and you name it everything to do with flowers😆 The afternoon just went so quickly.

To test if a zinnia is ready for cutting wiggle the stem. If stiff she is ready for cutting. If the stem is wobbly she is not ready yet

This is the 11th tip of 12 on how to best care and grow flowers
The key to protecting your flowers so they don’t get eaten by critters is regular weekly doses of an oil repellent like neem oil. Consistency is key here.
You can also plant Borage and Marigolds nearby to attract insects to these areas instead of your cut flowers
