It was a joy to work with Rai of HooRai Balloons and learn of all of the wonderfully conscious aspects of her business. Not only is she an incredible balloon artist (please pop over to her page and have a look at her creations), Rai’s philanthropic nature sees her pieces donated to places like the hospital, post event. She employs with diversity at the forefront and also aims to run her business as sustainably as possible and plastic-free. It was great to learn of her partnership with Terracycle who take typically non/recyclable items and turn them into consumer goods, meaning the balloon waste gets new life instead of going to landfill. It’s small businesses like Rai’s making a big impact on our communities and if you can get behind and support the great initiatives behind these brilliant businesses, the flow on effect would be far-reaching ✨
