House of E Productions was formed on a hot summers day in 2010 by The Ellery brothers. They were sitting around having a couple of pints talking about the local music scene and how they would love to see Hilltop Hoods play a gig with The Funkoars and joked about how cool it would be to have Drapht on the same lineup. Although they didn't think any more of this at the time... the House of E seed ha
d been planted. As the House of E plants roots started taking hold, The Ellery brothers, consisting of Tristan and Rhian Ellery started talking more about how rad it would be if this gig actually happened, being massive music fans themselves, especially when it came to Australian Hip Hop, the idea quickly grew into discussions about organising an All Australian Hip Hop event. After making some initial enquiries, changing the lineup multiple times, attending numerous gigs to complete "market research" and speaking with almost every single artists management which resulted in some very positive feedback the guys are finally ready to get this show on the road... well almost. They couldn't start arranging Australia's biggest and best All Australian Hip Hop Music Festival without a production company with a jazzy name, sadly they couldn't think of anything jazzy so settled on House of E Productions. So now you know the humble beginnings of House of E Productions and why it was formed. I'm sure this has cleared up a lot of queries about the name and that it in fact has nothing at all to do with ecstasy... As you can see, they don't organise dance parties... YET! "All the crew have a genuine passion for the music industry and are really excited about our inaugural event. This is just the beginning of what we hope to be a worldwide music juggernaut playing host to the best Australian and international acts via a variety of intimate events getting your favourite acts right in front of your eye and ear balls!"
House of E Productions are also in the process of drafting a screenplay which they hope to have finished soon. The plot follows a group of 4 friends on an Australian wide roadtrip going to as many music festivals as possible before the end of the world approaches in 2012... Watch this space for updates on what is surely going to be a humdinger of a success. They guys are also currently working on a YouTube division of the company
