🎨 PASSAGE SPOTLIGHT | Bernadette Mollison 🐟🌊

Ever wonder what’s happening behind the scenes in our local arts community? Here's a look at one of the incredible projects unfolding through the PASSAGE program.

Minjerribah-based artist Bernadette Mollison is diving deep into Lives of the Shoreline — a project capturing the mullet season through photos, local stories, and cultural memory.

Working with the Stradbroke Island Museum and local families, including multigenerational fishers like Rick Perry, Bernadette is preserving shoreline traditions through art and oral history.

This is why supporting local artists matters — they help keep community stories alive, connect us to place, and inspire future generations. 💛

Bernadette Mollison is one of the five artists supported through the 2025 PASSAGE Artist Development Program delivered by Redland City Council in partnership with the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.

The undisputed Comedy King of Wagga, Dane Simpson, is heading to RPAC to host the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow!

Since bursting onto the scene as a national finalist on Deadly Funny in 2015, Dane’s comedy career has been on a meteoric rise.

You might’ve seen him tackling wild challenges on The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition, cracking up audiences on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala, or attempting to cook up a storm (with varying success!) on The Cook Up with Adam Liaw.
