After a short breather, BYO is back and louder than ever. We’re throwing a no-holds-barred rave to shake the walls and reunite the crew. It’s a full-force return, bringing together some of the best up-and-coming local talent for a proper multi-genre journey — from hard-hitting breaks and heavy bass to groove-drenched house and fast-paced techno.

This isn’t just a gig — it’s a homecoming. A celebration of the dancers, DJs, and day ones who live for the late nights and early mornings. Expect a sweaty, hands-in-the-air kind of night with nothing but pure energy and unapologetic tunes.

DJ J17 is one of the rising stars in the Sydney Dnb scene. He describes his style of mixing as a blend of jump up and dancefloor dnb, taking inspiration from DJs such as Sota and Kanine. J17’s energy is unmatched from the cleanest blends to the heaviest triple drops.

ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

Kendo is a dynamic new age hip-hop artist coming from Sydney’s south.

Kendo always had a love for not only the genre but music in general. After beginning to write music alongside Schindla around 2019, Kendo found where his real passion was.

Although Kendo has not released any material yet, the vault holds many songs over a vast variety of instrumentals that are bound to feed the need for hip-hop in Sydney. Kendo has performed at locations around Sydney diving into events and shaking speakers with his authentic lyrics and tasteful sounds.

Kendo’s music taste is also very scattered, leaving room for a wide variety of expression under many different hip-hop sub-genres. Kendo is looking to light up the stage and have the crowd electrified, but also wants to reach the listeners are looking for some soulful sounds.
