I love all the movement and detail in this cake.

Draping and texture is very on point at the moment. I’ve got so many beautiful draped wedding cake designs coming up this season and I can’t wait to bring them to life.

I know this might be controversial…

People have very strong feelings when it comes to buttercream vs fondant.

As much as I love fluffy buttercream getting stuck to my nose when I bite into a delicious cupcake, when it comes to special event cakes, I’m team fondant all the way.

There are just so many more options for creativity and looks you can achieve using this medium.

And besides, a professional decorator will only use a thin layer of fondant to mask a cake, so the taste should not be overpowering or sickly sweet.
