Another amazing MOVE on Saturday night featuring a power outage mid set and live music interval until the neighbours hooked us up with a generator!

Big thanks to all you dancers, the crew, DJ Nikki .nutrition and the most wonderful musicians who jumped on the piano and drums to when the grid went down.

We are on!

Our epic sound system is currently being set up, the chai is brewing and our DJ is ready to drop some absolute bangers!

Come MOVE and shake it off with us tonight at Muckleford Community Centre (10 mins from Castlemaine).

Doors open for warm up at 6.40pm, DJ Nikki Valentini drops it from 7pm-9pm tonight. $20 on the door.

Neon Ochre Collective is excited to offer you another awesome opportunity to move your body through space.
With our top-notch sound system and sound journeys curated with intention, we are dedicated to creating soulful events that provide fun and full feeling in equal measure.

MOVE is a place, well, to move - to dance, play and connect. A little less elaborate than our Earth Dance series, these events bring you the heart of our mission in its elemental form. Lower cost, no need to book: simply turn up and be moved by the music.

For this edition of MOVE we are very excited to have local legend Nikki .nutrition jump behind the decks. Nikki is a force of nature to say the least; some might even say that she is a kind of “super-nature”. Her musical influences are bountiful, from Berlin’s 90s street-raves to being a touring member of industrial juggernaut “Snog”.

Nowadays, Nikki often enjoys a more tranquil lifestyle, absorbing the sounds of the rolling Yapeen hinterlands. However, be assured Nikki is no stranger to playing for crowds busting to let loose and move some energy. So make sure your legs are fully rested and ready to dance !

Entry: $20 cash at the door

6.40pm - doors open:
arrive, stretch, settle in to some ambient tunes, but please arrive no earlier than this

7pm - DJ set starts

7.20pm - doors close: (please arrive no later than this)

9pm - End of DJ set : time for Chai and chats

MOVE is a safe, inclusive and connective space - ALL are welcome.

Greetings friends and fellow dancers.

We're sorry to let you know that the Neon Ochre team have made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming event on April 19th, due to low ticket sales.

The Collective is committed to high-quality offerings, and we need a minimum number of early ticket sales to ensure we can pay our artists and venue fairly.

We understand that it's a tricky time for many people, with global uncertainty and rising costs of living, among all the day-to-day pressures we face being humans in the world.

The Collective's purpose is to meet the needs of our community, and when the need isn't there, we listen.

This event will be rescheduled for a date in the near future. You'll be the first to hear about it once the details are locked in. If you have booked a ticket, you'll receive a message from our Humanitix platform giving you the option to hold onto your booking for the postponed event, or to request a refund.

The team is grateful for your ongoing support of our vision, and our care and best wishes as you all navigate these tricky times.

Dear Movers, this is a reminder to please read the event description, if you are intending to come to MOVE this Friday (or in the future).
We've made some changes to our door policy. The most important thing we'd like to ask of you is to please arrive between 6.40 and 7.20pm. No earlier, or later please :) Thank you all in advance 🙏

We are excited to be back at Muckleford Community Centre for our upcoming MOVE event on Friday 13th of March. This is a stunning venue, which is why we are so grateful to be able to dance and move in this space once again. And it's only a 10 minute drive from Castlemaine. Have a look for yourself✨️

At MOVE last Saturday we raised $400 for the Taradale CFA's campaign.

We moved some somatic stuff, connected beautifully, and expressed so much.
