A call for celebration — today marks my busiest day yet! Three airport transfers, three very happy travellers, and one very happy Voksy. 🦊

This month wraps up with an average of 4.5 bookings per week, making it the busiest month to date for Flying Fox Chauffeur.

Looking to the future, I’m preparing for the next stage of growth and will soon be exploring the possibility of upgrading to a newer Lexus LS.

The latest Lexus LS models offer fully reclining rear seats with an ottoman, allowing you to lay completely flat as you’re chauffeured in pure luxury and bliss.

This future vehicle will form part of a First Class upgrade to the service — and depending on demand, may even come with a liquor licence to further elevate the experience.

I also have a few dreams on the horizon… including the much-anticipated Luxo Bus. Let’s see what the road ahead brings!

I’ve closed out the 2024–25 financial year with a modest profit of under $5,000 — the result of significant reinvestment into the business to help it grow. Thanks to word-of-mouth referrals and a growing presence on Google, Flying Fox is gaining real traction.

June 27 is PTSD Awareness Day. I have had PTSD since a young age, and experienced C-PTSD in 2015.

It is a mostly invisible psychological injury that can rule the way you live your life forever.

I’m grateful to this incredible country for Disability Support Pension and NDIS that has allowed me a second chance when the people who did this to me wished I wouldn’t make it through.

Supporting my business is supporting my recovery and learning to live a meaningful life alongside these life-long symptoms.

I reached out for support from various PTSD groups and charities, they all said I am not eligible to receive assistance likely because I was not an emergency services worker. My best bet was to do everything I could to support myself.

Setting up a GoFundMe was instrumental in saving for a caravan which turned out to be rotten from water damage. I am now saving for a bus to turn into my forever home, so my profits from my business are going towards that.

Thanks everyone for supporting me even through my dark days where things were a struggle.

I keep walking in the right direction and keep asking for help. I am worth happiness and success.

Every one of my passengers who have experienced the fine dining at Chauncy speak so highly of their food and hospitality.

Bookings are essential with both Chauncy and the Flying Fox so lock dates in sooner than later 🦊

August reservations are now open.

We’re returning shortly from our time in Europe, grateful for the moments shared with family and friends, and feeling inspired by the many places we’ve explored.

As the main dining room undergoes some light work in July, we’re hopeful it will be ready for August, but we do need to remain a little flexible. When booking, please note that:

Larger groups, more than five guests, may be placed in the private dining space if the main room is not yet available and smaller groups, four or less guests, may be seated at the chef’s table noting this would be a shared table.

The Flying Fox Lexus LS430 has hit 267,200 km’s and its original wheel bearings are finally on the way out.

This is a testament to Japanese-built vehicles. And out respect of my passengers safety, this is why I use genuine original parts where available.

Total Tint Bendigo have done a superb job on what is a notoriously difficult vehicle to work on.

The Flying Fox limo now features privacy glass tinting that, when coupled with the retractable privacy shades inside, offers protection against paparazzi and other nuisances when travelling for business or leisure!

The ceramic tinting also keeps the heat of the sun from bothering you, allowing a relaxing, cool drive in the warmer months.

Because there is no signage on my limo, I rely on word of mouth to advertise my business.
