Sam and James tied the knot on a hot summer day in country Victoria, celebrating their love in the heart of Castlemaine. Sam envisioned a bright floral palette, complemented by a variety of wildflowers. The perfect touch to their already charming and kitsch wedding vibe.

The couple looked absolutely stunning, and I was honoured to have their trust in creating their wedding florals. I designed their flowers on the Saturday… and by Tuesday, I was in hospital having a baby! Turns out, ya girl really can do it all! 🌸

✨Emma & Matt | 08.03.2025 ✨The theme was ‘bush disco,’ the day was hot, and the bride & groom were stunning. This was hands down one of the most fun design briefs I’ve ever worked on. As a florist, it’s rare that I want to stay and party but this wedding was just that kind of magic! Emma was an absolute joy to work with, bringing so much energy and love for bold, bright florals.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who pre ordered, popped in, liked and shared my posts. Putting your faith in me and my business is something I’m so grateful for. I have loved the last few days getting to know my community and being able to show what Alby Franks Florals is all about. It has been so exciting seeing my studio filled with flowers and people. A massive shout out to Maddy from for allowing me to be apart of her open studio and giving me the push I needed 💖

🌼 Open Studio - Mother’s Day 🌼

Join in celebrating all things motherly at their Open Studio event in Castlemaine, running from Wednesday, May 8th to Sunday, May 12th. They’ll be featuring local label UMIFORM, childrenswear by SHRUNK, and jewelry by Hollie Bloss. On Sunday, indulge in mimosas and peruse flower bunches crafted by yours truly and will be available to purchase 🌷

Event Details:
- Dates: May 8th - 12th
- Wednesday to Friday: 10am - 4pm
- Saturday: 10am - 4pm
- Sunday: 10am - 2pm (featuring Mother’s Day Mimosa’s and Flowers by Alby Franks)

Location: FME Apparel, 26 Johnstone Street, Castlemaine.
