🥳 Exciting news from the Royal !! 🥳

Castle Hill is a member of Western Districts and after 37 years, Western districts has won the shield for 1st Prize in District Exhibit Competition at the Royal Easter Show.

🎉 Congratulations to Stuart Muller and his dedicated team of volunteers for the days and months spent in putting it all together. 🎉

First place across many of the produce, preserves, honey, leg ham, olive oil, wine and fleece sections. Well done to all exhibitors involved.👏👏👏

Our 2026 Cattle section was very well supported with over 80 head, Stud Animals and Steers attending to be judged this year.
What a long day, with many heats for over 100 young judges competing for a place to represent the Cumberland Group at the Royal Easter Show and almost 150 Young Paraders stepping out with their Steers, demonstrating their skills to catch the Judge’s approval and gain a place to go through to the next level at the Royal. What a display it was....

Congratulations to all those who qualified, we will be proudly cheering you on at the Royal !

Congratulations to our valued member Alexa Talbot on being awarded a Next Gen Ribbon! Next Gen Delegate, Trinity presented Alexa with her ribbon at our Annual Castle Hill Show.
Alexa is an active member of Ag Shows and is always willing to lend a hand at Show time. Alexa helps with the Horse and Sheep Sections and this year was stewarding for the Young Judges competition. We appreciate your continued dedication and support of the Agricultural Show community, Alexa. Thank you !

It was all smiles from the competitors in the Pony Club section last weekend. From the youngest of riders, some competing for the first time through to older riders taking the opportunity to prepare for Sydney Royal Easter Show, everyone gave it their all. The day started with the Show Riding classes, and after lunch, lots of fun was had for the always popular Sporting races.
All participation throughout the day, combining to award overall Champion winners in each age group and the hotly contested highest point scoring club award, which for 2026 was won by Londonderry Pony Club!

A Special mention to Saddleworld Dural for always supporting our Show and providing special vouchers for each of the Champions !

Thank you to our judges, Martin and Madi for their time and encouragement to the riders, and to all those who stepped up to assist on the day to keep things running so smoothly.

Thank you to all the horse competitors who supported our 140th Annual Show last weekend and to the judges and stewards who gave their time and helping to make the day a great success, we are most grateful.

a BIG weekend was had at Castle Hill Ag Show! All Sections were very well supported. Our grateful thanks to all judges, stewards and volunteers who work behind the scenes to pull it altogether.

What an array of talent we saw at the Sheep section, students proudly leading their sheep, and the pictured Pen of 3 line up which was a massive class. It's fantastic to see the hard work and commitment on display. Congratulations to all teams representing their schools !

Thank you to the CWA ladies who were very busy today ensuring no one went hungry. They will be back again catering for us all tomorrow, Sunday, so try a Bacon & Egg roll for breakfast !
