I’m sleeping in my car again this year for The Forgotten Women’s Live Like Her Challenge - and my daughter is coming with me again. 🚗

More than 40,000 women over 55 in Queensland are doing this for real right now, not for one night, but for months. After a lifetime of looking after everyone else, they’ve got nowhere safe to call home.

I want my daughter to start to understand these topics, not just hear us talk about it. 🫶🏼

We’re doing it again this year. Me and my daughter are sleeping in the car. 🚗

On Thursday 3rd September 2026 I'll be taking part in The Forgotten Women's Live Like Her Challenge - sleeping in my car overnight, right here in Brisbane, to help raise money and awareness for older women who are doing this for real. Not just for one night, but often months, sometimes longer.

Last year this challenge really opened my eyes, and it’s something I like to share with my daughter, so she can understand it too. 🫶🏼
