One of my favourite parts of the design process is imagining new possibilities.

This tea ceremony concept was inspired by a warm palette of soft yellow, golden apricot and delicate orange florals, paired with clean white styling and traditional tea ceremony elements.

The result is a space that feels bright, welcoming and full of warmth while still honouring the traditions that make these celebrations so meaningful.

What if tea ceremonies didn’t have to be red?

I’ve been exploring new colour palettes and absolutely fell in love with this soft blue and yellow combination.

Fresh, elegant and full of warmth while still honouring the traditions that make tea ceremonies so special.

I am incredibly grateful to have been one of the first stylists to create a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony in Sydney, a moment that fills me with pride. Though there are now many talented stylists who beautifully style these ceremonies, it warms my heart to see young Vietnamese brides still seeking me out for their special day, even after I’ve moved away from Sydney. I truly feel blessed to do what I love! 💕

Every wedding tea ceremony is like a beautiful story unfolding, with each colour palette reflecting the unique love story of the couple. Traditional colours like red and pink hold a special significance, symbolising sweetness and love while paying respect to family and traditions.

We had the honour of styling the groom's home with a stunning floral arch at the entrance and a beautifully personalised welcome sign. The interior was adorned with a traditional altar, creating a serene and meaningful setting for the tea ceremony.

It was a joy to witness this beautiful tradition come to life and be a part of such a special day. Seeing the love and happiness on the couple's faces made every detail we arranged even more meaningful. We're grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a significant occasion and to help create memories that will last a lifetime.

We had the pleasure of creating a beautiful and traditional setting for a Vietnamese tea ceremony. The entrance arch was adorned with stunning premium silk flowers in shades of pink, white, orange, and peach, welcoming the groom's family with warmth and elegance. An acrylic Vu Quy sign hung at the centre of the arch, adding a personalised touch to the occasion.

The tea ceremony altar was arranged in the same vibrant colour palette, offering an elegant backdrop for this cherished tradition. Each detail, from the rows of tables and chairs to the fresh flower centrepieces and tea sets, was carefully selected to create a memorable experience for the couple and their families.

It was a joy to witness the love and cultural heritage come together in such a beautiful celebration. We feel honoured to have played a part in this event. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Lily and Vincent's tea ceremony was a beautiful and memorable event. The overall aesthetic of the ceremony was traditional, but with a modern twist. The use of traditional elements, such as the gold altar set & red tea set, was balanced with modern floral decor and elegant accents.

Lily chose a colour scheme of blush pink, white, and pops of red for the floral decor, which created a stunning contrast against the dark wood of walls.

To add a touch of luxury, gold accents were used to complement the decor.

The decor was not only beautiful, but also created a romantic and intimate vibe, which was perfect for the occasion. The tea ceremony of Lily and Vincent was a beautiful union of tradition and modernity, and the decor was a reflection of their unique taste and style.
