Start your engines, SUMMERNATS is back this Thursday 8 until Sunday 11 January at Exhibition Park in Canberra. Here are all the important things you need to know!

🙌 You can also take advantages of the fare free evenings on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 January from 6:00 pm onwards.

🅿️EPIC Park and Ride will be unavailable from today until Monday 12 January.

🚍Diversions will be in place for bus route 18 during the event.

⚠️ Light rail services will not be operating from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Thursday 8 January between Alinga Street and Sandford Street during the City Cruise.

🚉 There will be increased frequency to light rail services during the peak event hours on Friday 9 January and Saturday 10 January 2026.

⛔ Flemington Road will be closed to all regular traffic between the Federal Highway and Randwick Road from 7:00 am on Thursday 8 January to 7:00 pm on Sunday 11 January.

⚠️There are currently changes at the City bus interchange due to the construction of Light Rail Stage 2A. Platforms 1, 2, 3 and 4 are currently closed and alternative arrangements are in place.

Make sure you plan your travel. Major construction on the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge Renewal project, which is essential work being delivered by the National Capital Authority (NCA) on behalf of the Australian Government, is now underway.
