The wedding of Elizabeth & Connor.
This was one of the more special ones this year, as it was the day I had the pleasure of being the celebrant for my sister-in-law Lizzy and my now brother-in-law Connor. This day is one of the reasons I absolutely love being a marriage celebrant, because I was able to share Connor and Lizzy's story with their loved ones and make it such a special day of celebration.
I got to see them grow up together, and celebrating where they've come throughout the years was a great, great honour of mine. It was amazing to make it a true family celebration with everyone getting involved in the ceremony. We performed a traditional Quaich ceremony in honour of Lizzy's Scottish heritage; a truly special part of the day.
Looking back it's one of my favourite days in 2024, and one that I won't soon forget. I'm so proud that I was able to perform this ceremony in front of so many family and friends, what an amazing day.
