Great news... Online ordering for delivery and pick-up is now available!

Our new location is 57 Dickson Place, in the old NAB space, opposite Vietnamese House. We are awaiting the installation of new doors facing onto Dickson Square (on the Post Office side), so unfortunately we can't welcome you inside just yet, but, don't worry, all will be revealed soon.

Hi everyone for those that don’t know me I am Lisa the manager and soon to be owner of Flowers from The Garden! Very camera shy and not a fan of self promotion, I prefer to let my flowers do the talking. I have been managing the florist since 2010 and started originally as a casual in 1990! I have taken a huge leap of faith to continue providing our amazing loyal customers with beautiful blooms. We will continue for now in our current location until the end of May and then hopefully open in a beautiful new location by July. I hope you can all continue to support our little flower shop online or instore. I will take over on Monday ready for a huge week leading into Mothers Day we will be working slightly shorter hours but will post new hours separately. Thanks to everyone for all the love and support in the past few weeks it has been amazing.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that The Garden in Dickson (and Flowers from The Garden) will be closing its doors on Sunday, 4 May 2025, after 49 wonderful years serving the community.

For nearly five decades, we have loved sharing our passion for plants and gardening with you—helping you discover the perfect plants, offering advice, and building a community of garden lovers in the Inner North and across the ACT.

Our dedicated team of florists have been integral to our success. They've been there for births, weddings and funerals and so many other celebrations over the years.

This decision has not been an easy one, but rising operational costs have made it no longer viable to continue trading.

Your loyalty, enthusiasm, and support have been the heart of our business, and we cannot thank you enough.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support this year we really appreciate it. We know that the cost of living has hit hard and flowers are a luxury but hopefully our flowers have helped bring some joy and brightness to you, your friends and colleagues even in the darkest times. Without you all we would not still be here so thank you. Thank you to our amazing suppliers too for giving us the best possible selection of blooms every week. We hope everyone has a restful Christmas season and we look forward to providing more joy in 2025. We will try and have a selection of bouquets available in the shop everyday from the 27th and will be back with a full range from January 6th.
