CaptaVitae Photography A Canberra based photographer available to hire for wedding, event, sports and portrait photography.

The name ‘CaptaVitae’ comes from the Latin ‘to capture life’, and describes the philosophy which underpins Chris Manchester’s photography. First taking an interest in recording his experiences of the natural environment, the desire to take home images of the landscape and its inhabitants was aided and abetted by his work as a biological scientist. Soon this act of recording the natural world becam

e a desire to communicate his own vision of the marvels that surround us at any given moment, including people, places and events. In this, Chris sees technology as a collaborative partner in the creative process: a partner whose contribution is to enhance and illuminate the subject, but never dominate the view. A commitment to ongoing professional development in the use of technology and new techniques ensures that Chris’ vision remains fresh and relevant, regardless of his subject. Chris is available to hire for wedding, event, sports and portrait photography. He is dedicated to working closely with his clients to produce high quality photos which will not only capture the significant moments of their lives, but also reflect their personalities authentically and sensitively.

You will be provided with 30/60 mins in the Green room prior to get ready.

CaptaVitae has been quiet on the social media front for a while, but lots has been happening behind the scenes. We have been working very closely with the Flazeda Hub, and Jazida Productions, and are proud to have been involved in an incredible first year for the Hub.

Celebrating 12 months of Flazeda being open as part of Jazida Productions!

We'll be releasing our Impact Report for 2021 and reflecting on all the wonderful things we've been able to achieve for our Social Enterprise work!

We'll have incredible performances from headlining acts and local stars - a best dressed competition and more! The event will be available at Belco Arts and also via livestream.

We'll be giving away tickets, free classes, merchandise, and running an auction and raffle! We'll tell you all about our grand plans for 2022 "Performance for Purpose" program and how you can support us to make it all possible!
