Sound, light, texture, atmosphere.
A little glimpse into Scenery 5, an immersive night of ambient music and moving image at Blank Cultural Platform.

Slow-burning soundscapes, shifting projections and analogue visuals transformed the space into something entirely different for a few hours, with music from Umki, Orthotyp-a and Sebastian Field, and live visuals by Nicci Haynes.

A night for zoning in, tuning out, and letting the room become the experience.

The CBR renowned and long-awaited Art School Ball is BACK!

SOAD Collective ANU and ANU School of Music Collective have formed one collective hive mind to bring you this very buggy boogie.

Bu Ball organised by students at the School of Music and School of Art & Design. This is an open community event and will be held on the 16 October 2026 at Blank Cultural Platform.

Expect DJs, bands, drag & performance art across 2 stages, as well as curated visual art displays and installations from student + local artists. There’s also word along the grapevine of a Bug market, merch stall, and a very exciting food collaboration.

Come dressed as your favorite BUG!

A little glimpse into the strange, tender world of Silver Spinning.

Music, shadow puppetry, live art, homemade rituals and a room full of people coming together to experience something wonderfully hard to put into words.

Created by Luciana Harrison, with Tara Bromham and Sia Ahmad, Silver Spinning explores q***r parenthood through song, image, sound and ritual. Each performance is a little different, shaped by the artists, the space and the people in the room.

Meridian is a community-controlled, peer-led organisation that provides health and social support services to our diverse communities in the ACT region. From support for those living with HIV, to mental and sexual health services, Meridian works to improve justice, wellbeing, and equity outcomes for people of diverse sexualities and genders.

On the heels of a sold-out launch, new Canberra label and crew Dark Future Picnic Music continues on its mission to build hope from dystopia.

The next step is a smaller, more intimate party focused on a single dub-adjacent genre. The premise is simple:

For this, they’ve gathered a lineup of old and new school CBR legends, offering them an outlet to dig out and play their favourite classic dubstep tunes.
