Good afternoon everyone, a lovely almost spring day.
We have gone vegetarian this week with a roasted vegetable and three cheese galette- which is an open topped pie! We use a light flaky pastry, pop a mixture of ricotta and cheddar cheese on the base, then top with roasted veggies. The whole thing is dotted with feta, the pastry folded over at the edges, then baked.
These are individual serves, $13.50 each.
The sweet treat is a millionaire’s shortbread, really just a fancy version of the good old caramel slice.
$28 for a whole slice, $14 for half, $7 for a quarter.

Hi everyone, reminder time.
On the menu this week we have two of our favourites.
The main course is Coq au vin Blanc, which in English means chicken casserole with bacon and mushrooms in a white wine sauce. Just delicious.
$13.50 per serve or $54 for 4 etc.
The dessert is orange sticky date pudding with a Cointreau butterscotch sauce. The description says it all, pure yum and decadence.
$28 for a whole pudding, $7 per individual serve. We will need a container for the sauce as well as the cake please.

Hi everyone,
On the menu this week we have two of our favourites.

A soup and bread on this week, making the most of our last few cold months.
It is a sort of a cross between a soup and a stew- slow cooked lamb, barley and vegetable. That will come with focaccia, either with or without olives- please say which when ordering. $13.50 per serve, $54 for 4 etc.

Hi everyone, reminder time.
On the menu this week we have moussaka, which is sort of like a Greek lasagna, but healthier as it uses roasted eggplant and potato slices instead of the pasta sheets. It is topped with a cheesy bechamel sauce which sort of undoes the healthy bit, but it is oh-so-yummy. We will need an ovenproof dish for this one.
$13.50 per serve, $54 for 4 etc.
The sweet treat is walnut and cranberry blondies, like a brownie but uses white chocolate instead of dark. Very delicious. $28 for a whole, $14 for a half, $7 for a quarter.

On the menu this week we have a beef and pumpkin curry, not too hot but full of flavour. This will come with rice so we will need a separate container for that.
$13.50 per serve, $54 for 4 etc.
The cake this week is one of my all time favourites and l haven’t made it for years. It used to be very popular when l had the cafe, way back when. It is port, prune and macadamia sour cream cake. A moist, beautifully flavoured cake with a crunchy macadamia topping.
$28 for a whole, $7 per individual serve. Try as l might, l couldn’t find a photo of it, so you will just have to imagine what it looks like- and l wasn’t going to make one to photograph as l would just have to eat it, and l certainly don’t need that!

Hi everyone, reminder time.
On our menu this week we have for main course, a chicken and leek pie. Sautéed leeks with poached chicken pieces in a creamy sauce with a little mustard added, then topped with flaky puff pastry, all ready for you to bake fresh. We will need an ovenproof dish for this one.
$13.50 per serve, $54 for 4 etc.
The sweet treat this week is the delicious lemon and raspberry cake. A delicious blend of two complementary flavours. $28 for a whole, $7 for an individual.
