Well, that’s a pretty special milestone — 50 reviews, all 5-stars! Even after all these years, I still pinch myself that this is what I get to do. I’m so incredibly grateful to every couple, family, and individual who’s invited me to be part of the most meaningful moments in their lives. Whether it’s celebrating love, honouring a life, or welcoming a new one, every ceremony is a privilege I never take for granted. Oh no.. a wedding completely lost... read on...

We were recently doing a wedding, and we had a memory card fail in one of our cameras, the first failure in a very long time, but this card had nearly 1200 precious non-replaceable wedding memories on that memory card .. the card was completely unrecoverable and we even sent it off to Lexar to see if they could recover it, but they could not.... DISASTER.... TOTAL LOSS...

But not with Cole Studios! All of our cameras, (including our video cameras) use dual memory cards. Every time a photo is taken, it's written to 2 cards at the same time. This is just another background thing that we do behind-the-scenes to make sure there are never any issues…

The other memory card had all the couples photos and we delivered them with nothing lost, we didn't even tell them that there was a card failure because they just didn't need to know….

Some people say, it was lucky, it's got nothing to do with luck. It's all about planning for contingencies… This is where my engineering mind comes out. lol
