Hi guy/Girls, I apologise for not posting an update, but i have been fixing the bloody toyota! haha.

Ok enough swearing, Towards then end of this week ill be posting the final part of the trip planning and also some other pics of my Rangie on the Creb Track and Cape York...

For all you overseas guys, get in touch with the landrover owners in australia and see if they can come along on this trip, you can co-drive their cars??

So, although in a hilux( forgive me for I have sinned) I did a recon run on stage 2. The road is straight forward and has been improved to just a dirt track. No major low range stuff here. Although camping on the river overnight was very relaxing

Did a trip, and attempted the CREB track with a mate from mackay. The CREB well... lets just say we got about 100m in and that was the end of us..... break out the winch!! photos still to come

Camel Trophy Reunion Section 1 Day 1

Day 1: CREB Track Section
Level: 4 Hard
Distance: EST 230klms
1:Trip Begins from the esplanade in cairns, following the captain cook highway north through the scenic coast road to the daintree village.
2: After the Village we head north to the upper daintree to join the south end of the CREB (Cairns Regional Electricity Board) Track.
3: Following the CREB Track the track will require winches and straps at the ready.
4:Time for a quick stop at the LIONS DEN and a cool Beer and Debrief and vehicle check
5: Final Drive to Cooktown For camping and first Night camping
ETD:9:00am
ETA:6:00pm
