Dance #3 of the month coming up!

This Friday on the decks, Dance Tribe welcomes dj Carlyn Creatress!

She has become a regular dj with us and we love the space she creates.

Being a dancer herself, she understands the sounds and beats needed to get our bodies moving in different ways.

Carlyn Creatress is most known for guiding people back to their Aliveness through immersive dance journeys and embodied somatic experiences that ignite the spark of your own creative muse...

Her signature Creatress sounds include: Tribal rhythms, Afrobeats, Shamanic & High Vibe, Global Bass, Downtempo, with sassy pivots and cheeky surprises. Diverse, flavoursome and deeply embodied, her soundscape meets you where you are and gently dares you to expand.

We are so excited to dance together again!

Get your ticket here, it's sure to be a grooving floor

Flashback to 9 years ago when I was working in a prison (lol) and I would countdown the hours until I could get home and just go DANCE with my Hoop, alone in my backyard

I would wiggle, shake, Flow, PLAY for hours and hours to whatever new music I could find

I needed to balance out all the seriousness and mind numbing from filling in Excel spreadsheets

What I loved about that time was my pursuit towards experiencing the unknown through PLAY

Playing with new music
Playing with new movements / tricks
Playing in sequences of Flow
Playing with new ideas or possibilities

Back then I had noooooooooooo perceivable idea that I would ever become a performing artist (thats a whole other story for another time), let alone become an Ecstatic Dance DJ who has facilitated dance journeys for thousands of people across Australia 💥

I didn't even know what Ecstatic Dance was a few short years ago!

All I've been doing over these years is following the thread of curiosity that P L A Y has opened up for me

I let go of what my life "should" look like by society's standards years ago

Instead I've been giving myself permission to PLAY ✨️

It's mind boggling to think what's been made possible, simply because I let myself play with the "impossible".

I'm literally living out so many of my wildest dreams 🤩

And for the first time ever I've created an online Playhouse experience over 5 days for women to experience the ethos of Play

5 days. Daily audio prompts with an experiment to unlock this energy effortlessly into your life..
And for some crazy reason I'm offering this for FREE 🌠 likely the only time I will, this is sososo juicy 🔥

We all have big dreams and desires that may feel out of reach or beyond what we know possible.. I'm here to tell you, if you can dream it ~ you can live it. Let me show you how to access this through PLAY 👏

We start Sept 13th!
DM or comment PLAY to join in 😍

Ps you can listen to my latest set from Adelaide Dance Tribe on Friday night ❤️‍🔥 it went absolutely OFF 💥💃🔥

&&& I'm hosting an epic community event this Saturday 12th in Mylor, SA called Spring Awakening where I will be guiding y'all through to dance your Spring intentions to bloom 🌺
Peep all of the above in my bio 😘

✨ In a world that pulls us apart, we choose to gather.

Ecstatic Dance becomes a simple ritual of remembering.

Remembering that our bodies are wise.
That rhythm connects us.
That strangers can become community.
That we don't need words to feel understood.

Next week, we're honoured to welcome Carlyn Creatress back behind the decks for a beautiful journey of remembering.

Book your ticket now and come be part of the ritual. ✨

4 weeks immersed in the flow of MOVEMENT & CREATIVE EXPRESSION ✨️

THANK YOU:
Dancers
Volunteers
Crew
Event Managers
Alllll of you make it possible 🤩

What a joy and privilege to moooove n groove with so many beautiful humans 🥰

As it all started to form I could feel how BIG this whole experience was going to be...

In the process of playing & dancing my way across SA, VIC, NSW
I also moved through my womanly cycle and that had big shifts in how I would normally facilitate my Ecstatic Dance sets

Some things never falter - you know I'm a bass lover 💥💁‍♀️

But like the seasons, women don't stay at their internal Summer. We cycle and spiral

And so, my artistry evolved and flowed as I did..
The songs I selected were chosen accordingly
I played what felt true to my capacity & aligned to the internal phase I was at

What I witnessed was a visceral response in the field (dance floor), because the more true I was to my internal world ➡️ the more integrity, authenticity, and self-sourced permission there was within the pillars of the space for others to meet me there

That is the true practice available within free form movement practices like Ecstatic Dance 💃

Showing up for the journey and moving through each layer...sound..texture..feeling

Tune in to the revalations & reflections, it gets juicier as the Heart Share deepens 💖

Watch til the end to find out which set I've now uploaded to my soundcloud 😘

Final piece~
To my fellow Sisters who are artists, DJs, space holders; the ones who are actively elevating collective consciousness and inviting people to join you in the intimacy of EXPRESSION
Are you being true to yourself, as a woman of this world, and facilitating from authenticity or performance?

Mullum, we've got something special this Friday ✨

For the first time, we're welcoming Carlyn Creatress to the decks from Ecstatic Dance Cairns

Embodied. Intuitive. Alive.
Carlyn weaves sound in a way that invites you deeper into your body - where rhythm leads, emotion moves, and something real can unfold.

Her sets are journeys...
through softness and power, stillness and expansion - creating a space where you can truly let go.

Expect warmth. Depth. And a current of creative fire moving through the room.

Come as you are xo
