Our team and students have been busy in the kitchen, creating the first products in the Wild Thyme Pantry range, handcrafted right here in Cairns in our Wild Thyme kitchen.

First small-batch creations:
🍍 Pineapple, Lime & Cardamom Jam
🥭 Tropical Mango Chutney
🩷 Beetroot Relish

$12.50 a jar. More flavours on the way, including Spicy Candied Walnuts.

Every jar is made with the support of our students as part of their hospitality training, a chance to learn new skills, build confidence, and gain real-world experience.

🍊 Got excess fruit growing in your backyard?
Mangoes, limes, lemons, bananas, passionfruit, pineapples, rosellas, if you've got surplus, we'd love to turn it into our next batch. Send us a message or pop into the café for a chat.

Busy baking day at Wild Thyme 🌿

Fresh from the oven: our classic baked cheesecake, scattered with edible blossoms, and a flourless raspberry & apple cake for something a little lighter.

Layers of goodness 🌿 Our house-made Chia Puddings — creamy Greek yogurt, chia seeds, maple, fresh berries and crunchy house-made granola, finished with a touch of garden mint and edible flowers. Made with love, the Wild Thyme way. 💚

What's on your plate today? 🍽️

We've been busy in the kitchen, and we're loving these three favourites at Wild Thyme right now.

🥄 Confit Garlic & Sesame Dip – Slow-cooked garlic, roasted sesame, served with crispy crostini. Simple, but absolutely moreish.

🌿 Trio of FNQ Spring Rolls – Tiger prawn, kangaroo & native plum, crocodile & lemon myrtle. Three uniquely North Queensland flavours in one plate.

🍗 Chicken Skewers – Grilled to perfection, served with red chimichurri and rocket. Fresh, vibrant, and full of flavour.

Swing by for breakfast, lunch, or a snack – we're here Tuesday to Friday, 7:30am–2:00pm.

Great food. Greater purpose.

A huge thank you to the entire cast and crew for choosing Wild Thyme Café during your time here in Cairns. It was an absolute pleasure fuelling your shoot with good coffee, fresh food, and a warm welcome.

You're not just supporting a café – you're supporting local trainees, community meals, and a team that believes in feeding people with purpose.

Exciting news, Cairns! 🍽️☕

Our new menu and drinks list launches this Tuesday! We’ve added delicious new breakfast and lunch options, and for the first time, we’re offering a selection of wine, cider, beer, and cocktails — including Aperol Spritzes, Espresso Martinis, and Wolf Lane G&Ts.

Every meal and drink you enjoy at Wild Thyme helps us train local students, support NDIS participants, and provide meals to our community through Rosie's Kitchen.
