Mt Mulligan today and loved every minute of it ! Brumbies, Emus, Kangaroos and a Brahman Cattle muster ! Mount Mulligan Lodge is definitely worth a visit - never ceases to amaze me that we have this world renowned outback tourist destination on our door step 2.5 hours west of Cairns.

This RAF crew is from Brize Norton UK - about 80 klms north of London. This is a C17 one of 8 in their fleet. Australia has 8 as well however the US has 222 ! They are enormous.

Early morning start - Cairns Hotels are full so the crew spent the night in Port Douglas. The Aircraft Commander (Pilot) to my left is Colonel Dave a 26 year veteran of the USAF. Their Aircraft is a refueller and is around 70 years old and obviously been rebuilt a few times. In the other photos you can see C17s - 4 in total. I don’t suppose I have to mention that work place health and safety is paramount, obviously experience is needed around these aircraft.

2 new Toyota vehicles join our fleet - Prado and Granvia. Predominantly for Lizard Is transfers, Silky Oaks, Palm Cove, Port Douglas and Mt Mulligan. Fully optioned, these vehicles will compliment our 7-10 seat Toyota Hiace fleet. With our new VDI supplied Yutong Coaches our capacity and transport ability is enhanced. Dragon has had a great couple of days with our very approachable and very busy Prime Minister Mr Albanese. Very fortunate to say hello to him and welcome him back to Cairns. My daughter Chloe was star struck ! He was so warm, kind hearted and very genuine. Thank you Prime Minister.
