Underwood Party Hire – New Position to join our growing team!
We are looking for a Casual Admin & Event Assistant to join our team.
Underwood Party Hire is a leading supplier of party and event equipment in North Queensland. We are looking for a highly motivated and organized person with the ability to work within this fast paced environment independently and as part of a team. This role involves working Monday to Friday with some Saturday morning work. The applicant must be efficient in an office environment with good computer skills and have excellent communication skills. Picking orders and general cleaning duties are required also.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a great work ethic
- Is organized and efficient
- Is positive and enthusiastic
- Has an eye for detail
Some duties/ responsibilities:
- Reception first point of contact
- Respond to enquires via phone and email
- Quoting and invoicing
- Follow up on quotes and sales
- Taking payments
- Showroom organization
- Prepare and pick orders ready for hire
- Return and clean items
Details:
Casual
During the busy season (April/ May – October) you will be required 5 days a week 9am – 2:30pm approximately.
Off season quiet season (October – April/ May) you will be required 3 days a week 9am – 2:30pm approximately.
Must be able to cover Permanent staff holidays between (October – April) which will be 5 days a week 9am – 2:30pm approximately, for around 1 week at a time.
No experience needed, we will teach you everything you need to know.
