This is Joey 💛🐾

If you’ve visited Longview anytime in the past 5 years, chances are you’ve met this guy. Joey is our lovable, loyal, tail-wagging tour guide — and he takes his job very seriously.

He knows the wedding tour route better than we do and is always one step ahead, trotting off to the next stop like a seasoned pro. He lives for a game of fetch, adores our guests, and honestly gets a little mopey for a day or two after each wedding weekend. (We tell him more guests are coming soon and that usually cheers him up.)

This sweet pic was taken by one of our recent wedding guests — Joey had tagged along for her morning walk. He’s a natural at herding cattle, and equally talented at showing love. He especially adores it when couples bring their own fur babies — the more the merrier! Though fair warning: he will try to lead them astray with river swims and endless mischief. 🤭

Joey came to us as the runt of the litter, sick and fragile — a little battler from a farm in the Hunter. We joked he was “the mortgage dog” at the time, but he’s grown into the heart and soul of Longview.

Everyone wants to take him home (please don’t 😅) — he’s my baby, Evie’s best mate, and now an iconic part of the Longview journey. We love him more than words. 💛
