Over the past few months, we have been quietly shaping something new at The Fig Tree Restaurant — an elevated ceremony vista, thoughtfully designed to frame the sweeping cape beyond. From this vantage point, the landscape unfolds in cinematic layers — coastline, sky and horizon — creating a backdrop that feels both expansive and deeply intimate.

This space has been carefully curated through a collaborative effort — a coming together of vision, craft and thoughtful design. Every element considered with intention: clean lines, open sky and uninterrupted views that allow the landscape, and the moment itself, to take centre stage.

There’s a quiet romance to the curve of a round table — a softness that invites people in, rather than setting them apart.

For Olivia & Akshay, the reception unfolded in gentle circles. No sharp lines, no hierarchy — just an effortless sense of closeness, where conversation moved freely and every guest felt part of something shared. It’s a subtle shift, but one that changes everything.

Layered in deep burgundy, the room carried a certain mood as the evening settled in — rich, warm, and softly luminous against the surroundings. Considered, but never overworked. Elegant in a way that feels instinctive.
