When rain shows up in the forecast for your wedding day 🌧️ suddenly everything feels uncertain.

But in all my years of being a celebrant, here’s what I’ve seen, over and over again:

Rain doesn’t ruin weddings. It softens the light for unforgettable photos, pulls people closer together and creates unplanned, unscripted moments that become the story of your day.

And it can also add a kind of romance that blue skies just can’t compete with.

So if the clouds roll in on your day, take a breath. It might not be your plan A, but plan B can be a different kind of beautiful.

⛅️ And if you’re still set on sunshine, you can always go down the Esty rabbit hole of weather witches! My bride Alex did this, and on Saturday she got her wish for sun!

Joy In Abundance 🕊️

These two beautiful men were married by me, here in the Northern Rivers on the family property.

From our very first call, I was completely invested in creating a ceremony that would work for their intimate family setting - authentic, meaningful & fun.

As we gathered in the garden, there were plenty of smiles and a whole lot of pure joy ~ and for me, that’s what it’s all about - making sure that, however you choose to celebrate your love, you end up floating on a love high, with a ceremony you will always look back on with a smile ☁️💕
