Don’t make the mistake of NOT reading google reviews ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yes, you can find your vendor team through social media, but one of the best ways to find out if vendors have a proven track record is REFERRALS & REVIEWS.

1. Referrals - ask your planner, your venue or your other vendors who they love to work with. Word of mouth still rules 🎤

2. Reviews - read them 📝 It’s an absolute must. If couples are prepared to sit down and write a review for a vendor, they care enough about the service they received. Here’s where you can find the detail - things like how this vendor works with their couples, their style, their communication, their experience & professionalism, and how they make their couples feel on the day 🫶🏼🤗

Choose wisely, surround yourself with great vendors and you’ll have your dream day.

a place of peace,

We’ll sit quiet on the shore
feeling the warmth of the sun,
longing to hold you once more.

Looking out on an infinite horizon,
the liminal space
between here and there,
the time has come.

Today we set you free,
to sway forever
in the green blue sea”

On Friday my family and I gathered at my Mum & Dad’s local beach. It’s been two months since my Dad passed, and with the arrival of spring, the time felt right to take this next step and scatter his ashes. I wrote this poem and recited it on the sand before our family walked into the sea 🌊 We tossed sunflowers into the water and my two brothers scattered the ashes 🌻

It was peaceful and reverent 🕊️Afterwards we went to lunch and raised a glass in his honour. A private memorial at home, where we shared stories with close loved ones, coupled with this last farewell at the beach, we have sent my Dad, John, off in our own way - a way that truly reflects who he was.

We feel so grateful for the guidance and care provided to us by Jari at 🙏🏼

I’m still bursting at the seams with euphoria, because Brett & Ken’s wedding was heart-stopping, soul-shaking amazing 💗

After putting their dream wedding on the back-burner when Cyclone Alfred 💨 came to town, they finally celebrated their love with a ridiculous amount of confetti (always a good idea) and an abundance of hugs. 🤗

Lucky me because, in March, I flew to Melbourne ✈️ for their intimate nuptials and last week, I got to kickstart wedding no. 2 with a ceremony that will always hold a special place in this little heart of mine.

All the warm feels & good vibes for these two absolute legends.

To top it off, they had the one-and-only, legendary photog, there to capture every beautiful moment.
