hey margot,

words can't describe how amazingly beautiful it was. everything was perfect. the lighting, the curtains, the chandeliers and the sunset..i know you put in a good word to those above.

everybody was lost for words on how a mere surf club can be transformed into a beautifully spectacular and romantic setting. We hope you won over some more budding brides and grooms with the wonderful atmosphere you helped make for us.

the food was amazingly fresh and oh-so tasty. My vegetarian friends and our pregnant ladies were soo excited to see food they could eat and that it was so delicious.

Scottie and the team were friendly and even let us sneak in one last song......"you shook me all night long", probably not the most appropriate but definitely had everyone dancing and singing..

when i get a few photos from our photographer, ill see if i can send one or two your way.

we are just about to start our last day of our honeymoon in Koh Samui but the rest of our lives now lay ahead for us and with the wonderful start you helped us make, it all looks tops.

Dear Margot

I have yet to thank you and your wonderful staff for a truly
memorable and happy celebration of Stace and Adam's
wedding. Everything went off so very well.

Your staff, with special mention of Scott, and the food were
exemplary. There were so many comments on the night and afterwards
of the whole day being the best wedding attended by so many.

From when the red bus picked up everyone to the end of the night,
the feeling was very special.

I am sorry I didn't get to meet you. Thank you very much and if you
are ever after someone to refer people to for a favorable review
please do not hesitate to contact either Stacey or myself.

Hi Margot
We are 100% back to reality now thus the lateness in me emailing a thank you.

I honestly cannot THANK YOU and your amazing team for everything. The day was even more magical than i imagined.
Everything was perfect.
You calmed me in my little panics, assured me of my choices and gave me a wedding day no bride could even imagine.
Throughout the night your team were amazing. Scott was always making sure we were ok and everything was running smoothly.
They had even offered to watch the bubba's while their parents ate dinner. You and your team went above and beyond.

The food was absolutly incredible, everyone was praising it and we were all a bit devasted the next day to realise we had to cook ourselves.

There truely isnt enough words to show how greatful Jake, Myself and our families are.

Hi Margot,

Estelle and I cannot thank you enough for Scotties and the teams efficient and friendly manner in which the entire event was run. Right down until we went to bed when Scottie loaded me up with 2 glasses and a bottle of water.

The food, the can do attitude the timing...absolutely everything was perfect!

We will definitely send through pics of what is the most memorable moment of our lives.

My name is libby and i am the mother of clint and mother in law now of Tara . Tara gave me your email as i wanted to thank you for the wonderful job your team did at my son Clints wedding. Tara and Clint were married at the Byron Bay Surf Club on the 10th December 2011. i would especially like to say a big thank you to scott and the team did such a wonderful job at the reception. the wedding went off really well and we only had a couple of small hitches which Scott got onto straight away re shortage of white wine and soft drink. We were very pleased with the professionalism of the team and the service was fantastic and the food delicious. We were very well looked after as parents of the groom and i am sure everyone else was well catered for as well.

Hi Margot, Scottie and Fiona, it was great to see you all again!

When Pete and Lyss told us they loved our wedding so much they were planning to use your services for their wedding we were both flattered and excited at the prospect of enjoying your food and hospitality again. As you can imagine it was quite surreal sitting there under the marquee and in the surf club where it all happened for Amy and I 2 ½ years ago.. At least this time we could sit back, relax and take it all in...

It was funny that the day after the wedding when we were over at Pete and Lyss’s accommodation (Beach Suites – just like we did!) Pete asked me “Did you have heaps of people coming up to you afterwards saying what a great idea the gourmet BBQ was?” (We still have people talking about the food from our wedding and that was 2 ½ years ago!). Lyss also mentioned that they were surprised to receive so many Thank You messages from their guests, with people commenting on the idea of the day wedding, the venue and the service.

So thank you once again for an amazing day. You are right that not many clients get the opportunity to have a ‘wedding replay’, but we were very grateful for the opportunity..

We are usually in Byron at least once a year for a getaway, so if we see you setting up in the Surf Club we’ll make sure to pop in again and say hi.

Hi Margot,

I have been told by friends and family that it was the 'funnest' wedding they have ever been to. I think everyone loved the freedom of a cocktail style wedding, as they got to mingle and dance more than if they were stuck at a table. I have also been told the food was amazing, the boys loved the ribs and the girls loved the lychee and lime martinis! Also the little details were noticed in the bathroom by everyone - panadol, mouthwash etc... I didn't know you put so much effort in!!!

The surf club looked unbelievable. I can't believe it was transformed so beautifully. To be able to have our first dance under a pretty chandelier whilst feeling the ocean breeze was something I'll never forget.

Thank you for co-ordinating the buses - as we picked a very busy time to get married this could have been a logistical nightmare but it all worked out in the end. I think the only problem there was that some people chose not to get on the bus back to the Gold Coast as they were having too much of a good time!

I will send you some photos when I get them, Tim hasn't been able to send me anything just yet, but feel free to use the Herald Sun article if you want.

Thanks again, you were very professional and I felt secure in your capable hands!
